The 49th International Wurzelweglauf will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and is the oldest fun run in the district. The event, organized by TG Konz, offers competitions for participants of all ages, including the SWT Bambini Run over 400 meters, the Nikolaus Koch Foundation Inclusion Run over approximately 800 meters, various children’s and youth races, as well as the main races over 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km. The Wurzelweglauf is characterized by a challenging trail profile and is highly regarded by runners in the region.
